TAA is a year-long triple-threat program which trains students ages 6-18 in the areas of acting, singing, and dancing (trimesters 1 and 2), which equips them to put together everything they've learned as cast members in a full musical production (trimester 3).

What TAA is and How It Works
Theater Arts Academy is a full-year program that consists of three trimesters.

TRIMESTER 1
8 Wednesdays
September 21-November 16, 2022

TRIMESTER 1: CLASSES
Time to get to business! Learn acting, singing, and dancing techniques to help perfect your craft.
$275

TRIMESTER 3
Up to 10 Wednesdays + 2 Shows*
March-May 2023
*Also includes tech week & up to 2 Saturday rehearsals
TRIMESTER 3: FULL MUSICAL
Show time! Students will apply the skills they've learned in trimesters 1 and 2 and audition for, and ultimately perform in, a full musical production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!

Plus $50 performance fee
**NOTE: For the trimester 3 production, not every student will be called to attend every rehearsal, although ALL students will have ample TAA time between Saturday rehearsals, tech week, and performances.
The Sojourn Productions staff is so excited for the opportunity to have your students in their class! Please note that the staff are Christians who are excited about their faith and do not conceal it, however we welcome students from all faiths and walks of life.
Meet The Team

Acting Instructor (Ocean View)
Lada has been performing in local theater productions across Atlantic County since she was seven years old. She has landed several lead roles in various musicals, plays, and more over the years. She is a NJSTARS student at Stockton University, majoring in Business Studies with a concentration in management. She currently works in the film industry as an acting teacher for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, a casting associate, a production assistant, and an actress herself.
Lada often teaches scene work, technique, confidence, monologue studies, and more. Recent acting credits include Netflix Studios’ Unsolved Mysteries, director Ian Barling’s short film “SAFE” which recently premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in France in the Semaine de la Critique section, and Halle Berry’s directorial debut Bruised, which was purchased by Netflix and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Lada has a passion for sharing art with others and investing into the gifts that God has given us in order to glorify Him.
