Due to the overwhelming response and amazing talent to The Sound of Music, we’ve decided to follow up The Sound of Music with a youth (18 and under) production of ANNIE coming in early 2011. The cast for Annie will be drawn from those of you who have already auditioned. We will not be holding additional auditions for this production.

THE PLAN
Have callbacks in September for casting. We will then have a limited amount of rehearsals this Fall in order for the cast to bond and pre-rehearse (learn script and songs). Come January we would begin regular rehearsals and have performances in early March.

The Sound of Music with music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II has become one of the best known and most beloved musicals of all time. Based on the memoir of Maria Von Trapp, The Story of the Trapp Family Singers, it tells the story of a good-natured, flighty novitiate who is hired to care for the seven children of widowed Austrian naval officer, Captain Von Trapp. Maria ultimately wins the heart of the children and the captain, but their lives are threatened by the encroachment of Nazis.
